Three Days Straight are a Brighton-based acoustic rock band, playing folky versions of modern and classic songs.
From January we are on maternity leave! So no new bookings are being taken for 2018 at the moment.
Our sound is a three-part, mixed vocal harmony, backed up by wholly acoustic instruments: guitars, bass and cajon. Not having a drumkit enables us to play at absolutely any volume, making us perfect for headlining events right down to low-key background music.
We can also play without mains power if necessary thanks to our battery-powered equipment, perfect for outdoor settings or remote locations!
We comfortably tailor our set-up and song choice to the event, and are happy to travel anywhere in Sussex, Kent, London, Surrey, and Hampshire.
Julie has sung with many different bands over the years, but Three Days Straight feels like home. "I met Tom around 7 years ago and singing with him is just awesome. Since we've been joined by the other guys, the band has really come into its own, and when we play as a group I'm in my element."
Former session guitarist, full time tutor and performer for over 20 years, Tom has played guitar on shows for Channel 4 and the BBC, and has played gigs from the Soho Soundhouse & Water Rats to The Dubliners in Sweden & Denmark. There's not a single song that he thinks he doesn't know how to play. The rest of the band indulges him.
Isaac got his first guitar when he was 3 years old and hasn't stopped playing since. He's been performing for over 10 years and studied music at The British and Irish Institute of Modern Music to degree level, playing with many different bands and styles. "After playing with so many musicians in so many situations I've realised how much I love playing with Three Days Straight. It's by far the most satisfying band I've played in. Love it." ~ said Isaac at knife point.
